Strategic approaches to creative solutions
Hi I’m Lisa! I’ve been working in government communications since 2018 creating:
- Videos: instructional, entertaining or as I like to call “edutainment”, and awareness
- Brochures: informational and instructional
- Web content: resources, guides, services, community events
- Social media campaign: Building Safety Month
The most important aspect of creating media for government is accessibility and using plain language. This means including alternative text with images, captions for videos, writing scripts with people with low visibility in mind, and so much more.
Below you’ll find a sample of my most recent work. With these videos, I am responsible for strategy, concept, script, production, editing, motion design, promotion, analytics, rinse and repeat.
